ABOUT

Hydrostatic Lift in short

Hydrostatic Lift is a Swedish deep-tech company focused on unlocking the value of low-grade waste heat.

Our technology enables industries to convert unused heat into electricity, improving efficiency while reducing both costs and emissions. By turning waste into energy, we help create more resilient and sustainable industrial systems.

Our technology

The Hydrostatic Energy Cycle (HEC) is a new approach to waste heat recovery. By using pressure-driven processes instead of traditional thermodynamic cycles, HEC enables efficient energy conversion at lower temperatures – where most industrial waste heat exists

Our Mission

At Hydrostatic Lift, we believe that the future of energy lies in maximizing efficiency within existing systems. By transforming waste heat into usable power. Hydrostatic lift is redefining what is possible.

Our Vision

Hydrostatic Lift aims to be an leader in the green transition by reusing and transform excess heat in low temperatures to electricity. By recovering unused energy overall efficiency can improve supporting lower operating costs and reduced climate impact.

Operational Team

Our operational team combines engineering, energy systems expertise, and execution to develop and verify the Hydrogen Lift method – from lab prototype to industrial pilot.

Patent, collaboration and current status

Our method is protected by patents and has been developed through broad cooperation with experienced IP specialists, research actors and industry partners. Our patent work has been supported by Barker & Brettell AB (Swedish filing) and Kransell & Wenborg KB (international protection), helping secure a strong IP position while keeping the solution grounded in real-world industrial needs.

We are actively building an industry network and working with partners around verification and next-step deployment. Our laboratory prototype in Hudiksvall is up and running, and we are now entering the next development step (Prototype Proof of Concept), continuing to refine the system and prepare for larger-scale demonstration together with customers and partners.
